Let's get the weather out the way. It rained. And it didn't stop.
It was such a fun day. Getting ready in the morning with Faye and the Bridesmaids was a real laugh. One of the Bridesmaids, Sam, had been a previous customer of mine; I shot her wedding a few years before. Because of this, we all felt a little closer and that made things flow a lot easier.
One of the annoying things about old houses is the windows. These rooms you get ready in girls very rarely are ventilated enough to be comfortable. It gets hot, sticky and when the hairdresser starts with the hairspray - WOW! You can't breathe.
We tried to open a window but it wouldn't stay open. Until one of the Bridesmaids decided enough was enough and she shoved the bottle of bubbly in the frame to keep it up.
Once the hair was done, make was applied and the dress was buttoned up, it was time to walk the aisle with dad and join her husband to be for the ceremony. There were poems read by guests, laughing, and lots of tears of happiness - everything you'd expect from a beautiful service!
The photos were indoors. The rain was just too much, the ground was getting boggy and there was a chance that the ladies in heels were gonna drown in the mud. No one wants that. So, we stayed in and had a good time indoors right up until the party!
